Some sketches for the “Ugress” gardening column in D2 magazine. The article was basically about composting, and the odour challenges thereof. The composition was really simple, meaning everything had to rely on a clear and strong pose. Bottom: The final illustration, which also can be seen in full colour here.

This illustration was for an article on Hollywood hair. I wanted to do something with the huge wavy hair style of the lustrous bombshells of the Golden Age, and used the (very platinum indeed) Veronica Lake for reference. We are proud of Cecilie who was invited to the Monki Cool Jeans workshop to customize Monki jeans. The event took place in Oslo february 13th. The Swedish jeans brand Monki offered the participants free beads, and let them do what ever they wanted. Here is Cecilies creation…

The new wrapping paper just arrived from the printers, and we are very happy. The print is inspired by the Flanellograf, once state of the art technology for storytelling in the kindergarten, and (surprisingly) still on the market. The pattern is colorful and naive, and suitable for any gift. Get it at Hunting Lodge.
