Origin of the Species

The visual evidence of Bjørn and Alf Marius Opsahl’s hipster search in New York is covering five spreads in todays D2 Magazine. Here are the illustrations and some unpublished sketches. For those of you who read Norwegian: Go and by the magazine, and read Alf’s text, it’s quite funny.

We were commissioned by our old friends at SMFB, Carl-Erik Conforto and Stig Bjølbakk, to work with them on an advertising concept for Tele2′s smartphone campaign. These little fellows emerged out of the shapes in Tele2′s own design manual, and we immediately fell in love with them. The print and television campaign is out now. [...]

Lost in translation: When we asked for the business cards for Norwegian Crafts to be delivered “around the corner”, we got them back with (surprise): “Round corners”.

We are happy to have Bjørn back from NYC, where he has been spending the last week as a reporting illustrator. These are some rough sketches from the Finnair flight.

Marius has shot a few stills for the latest edition of Port Magazine.

Our very own Mari Grafsrønningen was selected by Italian Marie Claire to design her “receipe for happiness” in their September issue. The infographics clearly shows that more chocolate pie is required at the agency. Complimenti Mari.
